The Ronald Caravan Clarinet Mouthpiece
Ronald Caravan: This mouthpiece is constructed in the tradition of fine symphonic clarinet mouthpieces. Subtle differences compared with other professional mouthpieces include a slightly deeper tone chamber to enhance "darkness" of sound quality, and a slightly narrower bore to improve potential for a well-centered, focused clarinet tone. Wider side and tip rails help encourage greater homogenity of sound register to register and eliminate "buzz" in the lower register. Tip opening is "medium-close" (ca. 108).
